It’s like the ancient philosophical photographers question: “Do you know what the best camera is for making photographs?” “No, what camera is the best camera to make photographs with?” “The one you have with you.” Truth be told… I forget if I heard that somewhere or if I made it up all on my own. But the ideas behind it are so true. In order to do the best you can at something, all the resources you have at that moment are the ones that will get you there. I emphasize that with the young artists I am blessed to work with each day. Great kids working really hard.
