“Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins.”

Poetry, prose, and quotes often have different meanings or interpretations based on the reader’s life experiences. Below, I have offered my initial inference of what the words above mean to me. Please feel free to leave yours in the comments section so that other readers might realize a more diverse interpretation. (The context in which the words may have been originally presented, and by whom, are not the primary issues, just what the words might mean to us, or for us, individually, in the now.)

My interpretation of this quote: Abundance and happiness require learning, which is personal newness. Newness requires additional insight, tolerance, challenge, and action.

  1. I adore the works of Jim Rohn. I used to have cassettes of his talks that I would listen to over and over, so now when I read a quote of his, I hear his distinctive twang. He often urged learning, and recommended all of us to have (and read) a library of quality. Including the Bible. I love this thoughtful quote as well as your interpretation. It reminds me to keep reading thoughtful and inspiring works, and to keep on learning! Cheers, Gina
