“When you do nothing, you feel overwhelmed and powerless. But when you get involved, you feel the sense of hope and accomplishment that comes from knowing you are working to make things better.”

This statement must come from the idea that the world is not good as it is. Which in return also means that the one looking must have made judgement upon the world. Actually I question even the idea of a doer in the world. I simply cannot find the one who it is that is doing something… Quote: “I am the Light and the Truth” – being love is possible. Doer ship must come from identification with either matter or subject. Reflect on this 😉

Thank you for your perspective. I’m guessing that Zig’s words were meant as encouragement for folks who may be lacking hope or belief in their abilities to effect positive change in their life or with their current situation. I think he was attempting to inspire immediate action on their (our) part and to improve their outlook and behavior. I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Zig. He definitely saw the world as good and that everyone had the capacity for good. I’m thinking that his view is on a different plane than you refer to.
“Doer ship must come from identification with either matter or subject. Reflect on this” –Okay, I am, and I will. Thank you again for your contribution and for being a teacher in my life. All the best. ~Paul
