It was brought to my attention that I failed to properly cite for a graphic that I used previously this month in a post on the topic of body language. I sincerely apologize for the mess-up.
I have changed the post and hopefully corrected the error of my ways.
If you would like to see the changed post, especially since it was re-blogged by others, HERE is a link.
Cheers!
Enjoy today.
Achieve today.
Tomorrow is promised to no one!
Funny – I was thinking about that post the other day when I was standing with my principal. His arms were crossed, I crossed my arms. He had his foot kicked back, I did too. Mirroring… I may not be getting a raise, but the post stuck with me. Thanks

OMG, Frank, you’re talking my language. I love it. I started using mirroring techniques that I gleaned while studying NLP many years ago to advance my negotiating skills. Real long story short, a number of years after that I was writing and facilitating workshops on negotiating techniques that sold out every month for “colleagues” in my industry. Oh, the looks I used to get from the attendees, many of whom had previously sat across the table from me during serious negotiations. It was precious! The lights came on.
Now the only reason I added the negotiating workshops to my mix back then was because I was transitioning out of the industry. So, although I was giving away me secrets, I knew I wouldn’t have to “do battle” with any of them anymore.
We’re all negotiating all the time. It may not be for a raise …but it’s something. My daughter is a high school educator also, and she often says to me something like, “okay, so my principal wants to talk about _____, so what would be the best way for me to_____.
You’ve learned well, my friend. Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays to you and yours, Frank. Take care. -Paul
