My nephew is currently hiking the Appalachian trail, at mile 730 of total of some 2,100 miles. Will take him until October to finish. I sent him this quote last night. He and his buddies really liked it.

Yes, but the only problem is he is literally being carried down off the mountain today – they think he may be having a very bad reaction to a spider bite. He should be in ER as I’m typing this. Keeping my fingers crossed that he pulls through okay. He is at 842 miles on his long journey, about 1,300 more to go.

Oh no. How scary for you and his entire family. Prayers up that all turns out okay. And of course, it’s better to be safe than sorry; in the hospital instead of staying on the trail. Hopefully, he’ll bounce back and want to resume his journey. Perhaps now is a good time for you to be an even bigger encourager and inspiration than you have been.
